2024 Cornerstone Conclave

2024 Section E7 Cornerstone Conclave Belk Scout Camp
Don’t miss out on the chance to compete and cheer on your brothers in a weekend of fun-filled events at Cornerstone Conclave. This year, we will travel to Belk Scout Camp, hosted by Catawba Lodge for Cornerstone Conclave. The event is April 26th-28th. The conclave theme this year will be “Building the Future Together.” Our lodge theme is “The World of Dr.Seuss.” Please bring any Dr Seuss-themed props or spirit items you can think of. The Unali’Yi Lodge delegate fee for this
year’s Cornerstone Conclave will be $65 for youth and $85 for adults. The price includes the
section delegate fee, event meals, program, event patch, Unali’Yi spirit shirt, lodge patch set,
BSA insurance, and dinner Friday night at our campsite between 6:00-6:30 PM. Registrations
and preorders after January 26, 2024, will not be guaranteed.
Along with the pre-registration form, each attendee must complete and turn in a copy of BSA
“Annual Health and Medical Record” parts A and B. Part C – doctor’s examination is not
required. Please turn in your completed Med Form and insurance card with your registration
paperwork. BSA AHMR form is available online. Participants must be registered with the BSA
and be a member in good standing of Unali’Yi Lodge. (Dues paid for 2024). BSA YPT training
must be up to date. Registrations are subject to the approval of the Lodge Key 3. Conclave
Pre-Order Items are available to any arrowmen whether you are attending conclave or not. If
you will not be present, you must arrange for someone to pick up your order at the Cornerstone
Conclave. (Please indicate who will pick up your order before we arrive at Belk Scout Camp and
let Wayne or Lincoln know via email). The only way to ensure the items wanted is to preorder
them. There is no electricity in the campsites, so those requiring CPAP machines should plan to
use batteries or arrange for alternative sleeping arrangements. We must also know about
special dietary needs before March 1. Participants should plan to bring their tents and chairs.
PLEASE CARPOOL WITH YOUR UNIT AND CHAPTER MEMBERS.
Unali’Yi delegates are expected to participate with the Lodge contingent during the event. If you
would like to be part of the Lodge Ceremonies Team, Dance Team, Sing Team, or compete in
Individual Dance, contact the Lodge Chief, whose number and contact info are on our lodge
website. The Quest Events are being changed a bit this year and should allow everyone to get
involved. Should a youth member need monetary assistance, please get in touch with Wayne
Barfield Lodge Adviser at advisor@site236.com. Do not let financial difficulties prevent you from
attending (all contacts will be kept strictly confidential).
Everyone must pre-register to participate in this event. Onsite registration is not available.
Register by January 26 to reserve your spot. Don’t hesitate to contact Wayne Barfield at
advisor@site236.com or call 843-817-0084 if you are willing to help with or judge any events.
We are always in need of adult volunteers at this event. Thank you to everyone who supported
our Brothers Helping Brothers fundraising efforts. Your contributions helped us lower the cost for
youth to attend Conclave this year.

Yours in Brotherhood,

Lincoln Shirey
